Summary

Offline activation of the Digipass App via the user website produces an HTTP 500 error in the website.

In the OneSpan Authentication Server (OAS) full trace file you get the following error:

<Result Codes: { Status Code: 'No applicable DIGIPASS was found for the operation. (1108)' ; Return Code: 'Denied (-2)' }>


Problem symptoms / details.

This error can occur when the OAS policy used for the Digipass Activation limits the Digipass Types to only DAL10.
As the instance of Multi Device License (MDL) Digipass has another Digipass type, this restriction will prevent the last step in the activation process: the validation of the OTP sent to the server.

Problem Solution.

Remove the Digipass Type restriction or add the Digipass type of the instance of the MDL Digipass.

Removing completely the restriction of the allowed Digipass Types could potentially cause a problem with the Digpass assignment.

The preferred solution is to add the list of possible Digipass types (depending on the Os's on which the Digipass will be activated) in the Digipass Types list:
