Summary
The default settings after installation of OneSpan Authentication Server (OAS) 3.25 do not allow DBeaver to connect to the embedded MariaDB Database.
This article describes what parameters to change to be able to connect.

When trying to connect to the embedded database using DBeaver you can get one or more of the popups below:

Problem Solution
- When requested to download driver files, press the "Download" button.
- Edit the connection settings of the IAS embedded database
- On the main tab, enter the Username and Password
(default valuse are Username = digipass password = digipassword

- On the SSL tab
- If you installed OAS WITH encryption for embedded DB store (GDPR complaint)
The 'Verify server certificate' is enabled by default. Change the value (untick the checkbox)

- If you installed OAS WITHOUT encryption for embedded DB store.
Leave the default value ('use SSL' unticked)
